My Sisters

Joanne

            Three years younger

            but always my equal.

We share our love for family

and a world full of people.

Norrine

            A sister-in-law to love.

            This is one classy lady.

We share our love of the business world:

            shorthand and proper grammar,

and, also a love for her brother!

Catherine

The Fourth of July McGraw family gathering

was the first time we met.

Dressed in red pedal pushers, a white blouse, and a wonderful smile

            she made me feel welcomed.

And even though she is now gone,

I consider her one of the best.

Mary Jane

We lived miles and miles apart, and

she looked like Norm’s mom whom I never knew.

Mary Jane died too soon for me to get to really know her

yet, I consider her my sister, too.

Betsy

Always smiling, laughing, and telling stories

            of her many fun adventures.

Constantly looking for the bright side,

she’s funny and talks all the time.

And even though she has her share of medical issues

she keeps us all in stitches.

Whether her story is funny or sad, we all look for the tissues.

Mary Ann

            Although Norm’s cousin,

I think of her as my sister, too

She personalizes gifts for even the smallest occasion

And remembers to ask about you.
